Q: Why do you only sell S-style barcode keytags?
We specialize in s-style keytags mainly because that is what most gym owners have become accustomed to. This is because many gym owners use slot-style barcode readers – and in order to swipe a keytag through the slot reader while still allowing the member to keep the keytag on their key ring, the s-style tab is necessary.
Q: Is my purchase secure?
Absolutely! When you’re ready to check out, you’ll see the letter s added to the end of the http in your browser. This indicates that your credit card information is being transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL), so you can be assured that your payment information is safe.
Q: Can I split my order for 500 keytags?
Sometimes we have gym owners ask us if they can split their minimum order of 500 custom keytags. This has come up in a case where for example a gym owner offers 2 types of memberships (like maybe a basic and a VIP membership) and they want 2 different keytag styles to identify which membership each member has. However, the 500 keytag minimum is “per design”, so if you are looking to have 2 distinct keytag designs or layouts, you will need to order a minimum of 500 keytags per order.
Q: What is the lead time for custom key tags?
If this is your first order of custom key tags, it takes about a week for your order to ship once you have approved the layout. If you are reordering custom key tags with no changes, your order will ship in about 7 days.
Q: Are your keytags compatible with all barcode readers?
Yes. Although there are several manufacturers of barcode readers, our keytags are printed using the industry standard of Code 39 (aka Code 3 of 9), making them compatible with every reader.
